WELCOME TO FISH SHOP
Nicole Rossi and Justin Huffman met at Justine’s Brasserie, working on opposite sides of the pass—Nicole in the dining room and Justin in the kitchen. Fish Shop grew from that shared understanding of a restaurant as both food and feeling.
The menu takes its cues from the coast: cold oysters, bright flavors, good wine, and seafood handled with care. Around it, the room keeps its own rhythm—an open kitchen, a busy raw bar, music playing, martinis passing from hand to hand. A place for dinner, a drink, or an evening that stretches longer than planned.
OUR SUPPLIERS
Our menu begins with the people who raise, catch, and source our seafood. We work with trusted suppliers who share our respect for the ingredient, building relationships that allow us to serve fish and shellfish at their best.
THREE SISTERS OYSTER COMPANY
We developed our relationship with them after being paired with them during Austin Oyster Fest where we developed our dressed oyster of Nam Prik Pao, puffed rice, lime juice & cilantro specifically to pair with their oysters. Now they supply our proprietary oysters: Lil’ Savages.
MONTEREY FISH MARKET
Our relationship with Monterey Fish Market began while working in Bay Area restaurants. When restaurants closed during Covid, they sent us a 50-pound box of fish they couldn’t bear to see go to waste. That box became May Day LA, a seafood delivery business we started with Chris Kronner. Years later, Monterey still sends those same 50-pound boxes—now by Southwest Cargo to Fish Shop in Austin.
